Visualize

Turn tables into charts: pick a type, map fields, format the visual, and keep useful charts on the canvas.

Open Visualize

Choose Visualize in the pipeline (⌘/Ctrl+4), or jump from Analyze after a successful run.

Visualize canvas with chart types

Add a chart

  1. Pick a chart type from the type list.
  2. Use the Fields panel to map columns (categories, values, series, and so on depending on the type).
  3. Open Format visual for titles, axes, legend, colours, and related options.

Chart types you will see

The builder includes common business visuals such as Bar, Column, Line, Area, Pie / Donut, Scatter, KPI, Card, Table, Waterfall, Funnel, Treemap, combo and clustered variants, plus Map and Slicer where available. Names in the UI may be abbreviated (for example Clust. bar).

Canvas controls

  • Saved charts — charts you keep on this project’s canvas.
  • Chart menu actions typically include Remove, sort options, Spotlight / Exit spotlight, and Show as table.
  • A Slicer can cross-filter charts when you add one.

Some advanced format options (for example certain number formats or drill-through that need report pages) may still show as coming soon — stick to the controls that apply.
