Home & upload

Home is where every project starts: drop a file, open the workspace, then clean and analyze.

Open Home

After sign-in you are on /dashboard. In the sidebar, choose Home anytime to return to the upload screen.

Home upload dropzone

Upload a dataset

  1. Drag a file onto the dropzone, or click browse.
  2. Supported formats shown on the page: CSV, TSV, XLSX, JSON, Parquet. Related extensions such as .xls and .jsonl are also accepted.
  3. Limits: up to 5 GB per file. Headers are detected automatically. Files are encrypted in transit (TLS) and profiled on upload.
  4. When ready, choose Open workspace (the button shows how many files are selected). Status may show Uploading… then Opening project….

Olambus creates a project named from your file and opens /projects/…. Recent projects appear below the dropzone for quick reopen.

Empty state

If you have no projects yet, Home still shows the dropzone. From All projects you can also use Upload a dataset, which returns you to this flow.

Tip: Prefer one primary table per project for a clear Clean → Analyze → Export path. Multi-sheet Excel workbooks can be switched by sheet later in Clean.
